School is back in session and fundraising has begun.  The annual Popcorn Sale has begun!  

It is time for our annual popcorn Fundraiser!

Last year the 16 scouts that participated sold enough popcorn to allow EVERY SCOUT in the troop to receive over $100 into their escrow accounts to be used for whatever outing or event they chose.  Just think what we could do if all 55 scouts participated!

This year scouts have 15 different gift cards they can choose from as prizes as opposed to just Amazon. Trails End also brought back Honey Roasted Peanuts and changed pricing and sizes of other products.  The order form is attached.

Selling popcorn is very easy with the Trails End App.  Just create an account at  https://trails-end.com/ and use account code ZXJ2V to link your account to Troop 41.

If you have a Trails End account, please make sure you link your account to Troop 41 for the 2025 sale.

Please sign up for these booths as soon as possible.  If no scouts have signed up for the booths by 8pm on the Thursday before the sale date, Trails End will release the booth for other scouts/troops to work and we will lose the sales opportunity.  38% of Trails End storefronts were no shows in 2024.  This is Trails End's solution to making sure all scouts have an opportunity to sell popcorn to as many people as possible.

Scouts can also sell online to friends and relatives out of town.  They can also participate in Wagon sales.  If you would like to have some extra popcorn on hand for Wagon sales, please let me know by Friday morning so that I include that in the troop storefront order on Friday evening.  Scouts can also take orders and deliver the popcorn around Thanksgiving time.

Trails End has added Apple Pay and Google Pay this year.  Credits cards and Cash are also accepted.  More information can be found on the Blue Grass Council Popcorn website.

If you have not already done so, please down load the Trails End App and get started today!

If you sold with your pack or another troop last year, please update your Trails End account to Troop 41 (code ZXJ2V) so that your scout and Troop 41 can receive the sales credit.

Finally, we will need adult volunteers to help with each booth and time slot.  We will also need a few volunteers to help pick up popcorn on Thursday, Sept 11 and/or Friday, Sept 12th.

This fundraiser requires MANY volunteers.  Please let me know if you are interested in helping in any way.

Troop level prizes will be awarded on a weekly basis.  Specific details to come next week.
